Handrails & baserails
Our chamfered wall backing is used alongside our wallrails to provide an excellent finish on your Staircase. They allow the wallrail to be mounted securely without attaching directly to the wall.
All our backing boards are made from solid timber with no finger joints.
This is our alternative style of Wall-rail. This is usually mounted using wall Brackets and is available in various materials/finishes. Available in 4.2m lengths
Our Oak and Ash option is free from finger joints
This is our standard choice of Wall rail. This is usually Mounted to a chamfered Wall Backing. Available in a variety of materials and finishes. Available in 3.9m lengths.
Both our Oak and Pine handrail are made from solid timber with no finger joints.

Important: Our pine, primed and oak baserails are sold without infill, which can be purchased separately if required.

Our 41mm and 32mm stop-chamfered spindles are supplied in three lengths – 865 (only in primed pine), 900mm and 1100mm. Spindles are for use on closed string staircases and domestic landings. The 1100mm spindles are mainly used on a cut-string staircase where there would be one 900mm and one 1100mm spindle per tread. The longer lengths are also for use around commercial landing areas to comply with current building regulations.

Newel Posts
Sold in sizes of 90mm x 90mm x 710mm. These can be fitted to your existing newel if cut to the correct height.
For installation, we recommend drilling the newel base to suit the dowel on the turning to ensure a secure and accurate fit.
Alternatively, matching newel bases are available separately.
Sold in sizes of 90mm x 90mm x 497mm. These can be fitted to your existing newel if cut to the correct height.

The overall size is 1mtr long x 205mm high x 285MM and designed pair perfectly with our bullnose treads.
When purchased with the bullnose tread they can be easily assembled creating a cost effective bullnose feature step.

Our angle beads provide a protective edge for any exposed corners, leaving a clean finish on your staircase. angle beads are used to cover the plasterboard when the underside of the stairs is plaster boarded. Sold in sizes of 27mm x 27mm x 2400mm.
Our bullnose oak stair Treads are laminated to a finished thickness of 22mm, ensuring stability, and reducing the risk bowing and splitting.
We offer a cutting service with all our treads as long as they are within the sizes of the treads purchased. Please provide your measurements in the notes section at checkout. Let us know if you require a riser groove on the underside of the bullnose tread, otherwise treads will be supplied without.

Our stair tread and riser cladding kits are perfect for transforming your existing staircase, giving it a modern oak look without having to remove your old stair treads or risers.
Engineered from kiln dried timber for durability and stability, these kits deliver a premium finish. We recommend finishing with Treatex Hard wax Oil, also available in our online store. Alternatively, choose our black oak treads with matching white, black or oak risers for a bold, contemporary look.
To fit the treads and risers we recommend simply gluing to your existing staircase. The tread has a round nosing 27mm thick to create the visual effect of a thicker tread. Two battens are also supplied to help you fix your new risers to the existing.
Our Tread extensions allow you to form a triangular winder tread on the turn of your staircase, or they can be used in multiples to cover any landing areas on your staircase. These are supplied ready tongue & grooved so that they simply fit together.

Our Landing Nosing adds a nice finish to the outside of the stairwell. Available in different materials and sizes.
These can be used as an alternative to buttons. They are slightly bigger but provide the same functionality. Available in different materials.
These Buttons are designed to conceal screw holes in the newels created during the installation of handrails.
They provide a nice finish whilst discreetly covering up the screws used, helping to maintain a clean and seamless look on your stairs.
